How Much Does the Abortion Pill Cost? Is it Worth the Price?

When you are young, chances are you could get pregnant even if you don’t want to. You cannot raise a child very well when it has been just a short while since you were a child yourself. Many consider abortion to be the safest and easiest way to get out of this mess. But is that true? Also, the process of surgical abortion can be pretty expensive. But what about medical abortion?

If your pregnancy is still at a very early stage, you can use the morning after pill to destroy the fetus. You doctor will be able to guide you in this matter. But this isn’t technically the “abortion pill.”

What is the abortion pill? It is a drug that terminates your pregnancy if it is at an early stage. The pill is effective for up to 49 days after the first day of the woman’s last menstrual cycle.

If you want to use the abortion pill, you have to find time for two or three rounds of visits to your gynocologist for a few routine tests and exams. The abortion pill costs somewhere in between $350 and $650. These may vary slightly depending on any additional tests, visits or exams that you might need to go through. Local expenses and community rituals may add to the total cost of the procedure.

There are a few side effects to the abortion pill. These include uterine cramps, fatigue, nausea and profuse bleeding. You should recover within a few hours, a week at most. The cost of the abortion pill is almost the same as surgical methods of terminating a pregnancy.
