Step By Step Guide To Growing Bonsai – Part 1
Growing bonsai is not all that difficult to do when you have the right information and guidance, in fact, it really isn’t all that hard to do at all, however, many beginners do struggle when trying to grow their own bonsai trees, they don’t know the styles, they don’t know how to maintain it, they don’t know what conditions to keep it in, basically they just don’t know what to do and they simply try to do it with no knowledge, this is not the best way to get started and will more than likely result in failing your first few times.
If there’s one thing you should do before you try to grow bonsai, or do anything for that matter, is to read and learn as much as you can about it, read books, reports, articles, anything you can find as it will all help you to better understand how bonsai should be grown and how to do it correctly, there is tons of information out there for you to read up on and you can have a good idea of how to do it very quickly, so get started.
Step By Step Guide To Growing Bonsai
The first step is to read and learn as much as you can as I already mentioned above, if you really want to grow beautiful bonsai trees then you need to know what you are doing or at least have some knowledge about it, read everything you can in order to make it easier for you to succeed with your trees and of course, when you are reading materials, don’t just read it because I’m advising you to, read it and absorb the information into your mind.
The next step you need to take is to find yourself a good plant, there are certain plants that are better than others for developing into bonsai trees and will make it easier for you, there are also certain characteristics you should look out for when you are choosing a plant, things like good branch structure, small leaves and attractive bark, these will be important for how your tree develops and how it looks when it is grown.
The next step is to get an idea in your mind of how you want your tree to turn out in the end, try and picture exactly how you want your tree to look when you are done and store that picture in your head, this is important as it will give you a strong mental image of what you are working for, you see, growing bonsai is all about shaping and forming the tree, you can’t form a tree into a shape if you don’t know what that shape is, you need to have an idea of what the outcome will be and then you can shape and form your tree around that image.
The next step is to plant your tree and get it ready for development, this is very easy, all you need to do is find a suitable place to have the tree and put it there.
